A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a national property investment, development and construction organisation who are looking to expand their business development team and recruit a senior business development manager to join on a permanent basis.

My client is a well–established organisation who have gone from strength to strength and are currently going through a period of growth, providing specialist supported housing across the UK working in partnership with Local Authorities, Registered Providers, Social Housing Landlords, NHS and private sector care providers. You will be responsible for leading a team of regional Business Development Managers to deliver the provision of habitual homes that meet the requirements of the client and to deliver against the annual sales target.

Job Responsibilities

* Lead and manage a team of regional Business Development Managers based across the UK to deliver new high quality accommodation across the specialist supported housing spectrum.
* Report to the Head of Business Development on performance of the business development KPI's and sales targets.
* Develop strong partnerships both internal and external, to assist with the delivery of the business growth strategy ensuring that other landlords are effectively managed to provide high quality, compliant homes for our clients.
* Build and maintain effective working relationships with external clients and contractors such as Local Authority, Care Providers, Housing Providers, Charities, NHS, Estate Agents, Developers, Commissioners and Architects.
* Identify new business development opportunities and/or acquisition of new housing using a variety of funding streams and partnerships.
* Provide support with the preparation of bids, tenders or applications for project revenue or capital funds.
* Work alongside the Senior Programme Manager and construction teams to ensure an efficient delivery of new business from inception to completion.
* Monitor market trends and sources of new business, reporting back to the Head of Business Development.
* Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction are achieved to sustain business and retain customers.
* Ensure new opportunities and requirements of key stakeholders are matched by the property acquisitions proposals being offered.

Candidate Requirements

* Experience of managing a team.
* Significant experience of developing new and existing relationships in the supported housing or care sector.
* Proven experience of working to agreed sales targets and KPI's.
* Experience of how care providers work and negotiating service level agreements.
* Knowledge of specialist supported housing including a good understanding of rent standards and housing provision to ensure the Group delivers sustainable homes.
* Knowledge and understanding of compliant, effective housing solutions for clients with support needs.
* Ability to be 'self–led' organising your own work, priorities and objectives to meet organisational goals, and with customer's needs and aspirations at the forefront of operational service delivery.
* A resilient individual with the ability to overcome barriers and manage setback.
* Full UK driving license.
