Description

A home based role where you will manage the New Business function for Housing 21 in Worcestershire, Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Bristol, Bath, Wiltshire, Devon or Cornwall. You will build a pipeline of secured land and opportunities to deliver a growing programme reaching 1200 units per annum by 2025. You will generate multiple new opportunities for organic growth through exceptional development activity. It will be expected that good, close relationships with partners will be established and maintained whilst promoting a strong professional image of Housing 21s vision and values. You will equally develop and maintain excellent working relationships with the Construction Team and Sales Team ensuring strong communication throughout each project.

Profile

You will possess a proven track record of identifying, securing and appraising development opportunities within the social sector. Using your market knowledge and network you will engage with key contacts including land owners, contractors and local authorities. You will excel at building relationships both externally and internally. You will possess a strong sense of social purpose and understanding of key issues surrounding social housing needs. You do not need a Retirement and Extra Care background, a development background within a social housing provider and the attitude and willingness to learn would make you the ideal New Business Development Manager.

You may have worked for a Housing Association, Local Authority, Consultancy, Contractor or House Builder.
