Carbon60 are looking for a contract Project Manager in the Marlborough area. This would be a 6–month contract with the potential of an extension, this position is home based and will also have flexibility around working from home once lockdown is lifted. The responsibilities for this position are:
Management and delivery of plans to ensure all necessary preparation and execution tasks and dependencies are included
Work with key stakeholders to manage the deployment of all aspects of the project assigned to Identify and mitigate potential risks for delivery of products operate as a full member of the team.
Working with stakeholders to ensure Design; Delivery; Technical Build; testing; MI requirements etc are managed and delivered to date and time Completion of detailed plan for the medium–term including MSP; Resources; costs Completion of the detailed design phase to time and quality
Working with the Design team to secure stakeholder sign–off at all stages
Development of stakeholder relationship with suppliers; including preparation of joint plans; proposals and any design and build documentation
This position you will be involved in the following projects:
Manage the transfer of training from MOD's fire training establishment in Kent to Capita's Fire Service College.
Lead on the changeover of the Training Delivery Authority.
Manage all negotiations between Capita and stakeholders involving training
Lead on the RAF personnel Parenting requirements.
Lead on the Health and Safety compliance requirements.
Identify and manage risks and issues, recording in the DFR HQ Risk Register
Mitigate related risks and resolve issues as required
Manage all negotiations between the contractor and stakeholders regarding trainingFor this position you require the following experience:
Experience in infrastructure/defence programme
Good Project management support skills: governance, risk, MI, scheduling continuous improvement
Experience using Power BI useful
Must either be SC security cleared or BPSS ClearedIn return you will get:
