Sales director Lead role in highly regarded leading IT Software/IT Services and outsourcing player. A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sales Director to play a key role in our prestigious IT Software/IT Services and outsourcing client, leading sales, reporting to the Sales head.

Job Role & Responsibility

Position : Sales Director
Reports to : Sales Head
Location : London,UK

Budget range : GBP140- 150K GBP Base + Variable
Experience : 15-20 years

Qualification : B.Tech/MBA

Preferred Industries : IT Software/IT Services and currently working with Infosys, Capgemini, Cognizant

Role & Responsibilities

  • Determine annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing sales and business development strategies; analysing trends and results.
  • Identify potential new customers, connect with the key decision makers and close the deal. Candidate must clearly and convincingly articulate the organization's offerings and value proposition and overcome initial resistance from prospects.
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
  • Developing and executing strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
  • Research prospective accounts in targeted markets, pursue leads and follow through to a successful agreement.
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Identifies areas of improvement in sales strategies and with a view of establishing actionable insights for the improving of sales and business profits.
  • Review sales and other revenue generating business plans, identify gaps, ensure proactive measures and meet set targets
  • Regularly interacts with partners, sales team and customers by attending sales workshops, seminars and hosting events, hosting sales events for the business's product.
  • Experience to determine annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing sales and business development strategies by analysing trends and results

Competency

  • 15+ years proven experience in service sales and business development activities
  • Should have strong CXO connects within the industry (Regions/Territory)
  • Sales Experience in software products/solutions/services to Enterprises & handling customer base in Large size enterprises
  • Demonstrated successful deliverables in planning and implementing sales strategies.
  • Ensure that the sales department works cross functionally with executives from other departments
