Our client is a growing VC backed renewable energy company who have entered the revenue stage of their growth plan and are now looking for their first finance director. The company is about to embark on the scale up phase and as a result they require an ambitious accountant to help them with continued expansion. Reporting to the CEO your duties will entail:
This role would suit a hands-on financial controller looking for their first finance director position or a commercially minded practice trained accountant looking to move into industry. This role comes with a competitive basic salary, a results-based bonus and potential share options.
- Producing monthly management accounts
- Financial modelling and business planning
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Dealing with banks
- Liaising with investors
- Producing information memorandums (IM) for fund raising
- Dealing with auditors, lawyers and corporate financiers
- Business partnering the CEO
