Wise Employment are recruiting for a Project Manager with a Food Product Development background for a UK leading company based in Plymouth.
This is an exciting permanent role and offers the opportunity to work for a highly reputable company.
You will be providing project management leadership on complex innovative pipelines and drive them to fruition. You will be required to lead multidiscipline innovation projects which includes the indirect management of project members with the possibility of direct reports.
You will carry out feasibility studies for new product ideas and support the head of department to ensure compliance with other project management processes and procedures.
You will be required to successfully complete medium to large projects within planned timescale, cost and resource budgets and to identify potential risks to the success of projects.
You will prepare and maintain realistic project plans and provide regular and accurate reports to stakeholders as required. This will also include overseeing the total project portfolio to ensure it is being project managed effectively and manage any issues that relate to the project being off track.
This role will need you to carry out reviews of projects with lessons learned, recorded and utilised on subsequent projects.
To succeed in the role, you will hold Prince 2 Project Management Qualification or an equivalent level qualification. Ideally you will also have experience of delivering Projects to a food manufacturer.
You will desirably have experience of working with retailers or within a FMCG role and possess a knowledge of food development. You will need to have a strong proven ability of project delivery and want to succeed in a role that mainly involves project management with project development as an addition,.
You will need to have excellent knowledge of best practice programme management and very strong communication skills.
