This is a new role in the programme to understand and analyse user and business needs and ensure outcomes are aligned with service vision, business strategy and target operating model. Business Analysts challenge constructively and facilitate collaboration and lead effective communication with all stakeholders to support design, build and delivery to meet the user needs.

Responsibilities

1.Drive the research and gathering of business requirements against those articulated for the workstream determining the need and value of performing the activity based on the context.
2.Employ a range of tools and techniques to map 'As–Is' and 'To–Be' business processes.
3.Evaluate requirements against the present state (where we are) & the target state (where we want to be) identifying opportunities to develop successful business requirements needed to make the transition.
4.Analyse the potential consequences of a change and estimate what needs to be modified to accomplish that change and focus on scoping changes within the details of the overall workstream design identifying potential stakeholders.
5.Evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of identified benefits analysis and lead on identifying business–related actions that will assist with workstream delivery, articulating business benefits
6.Engage with the workstream working group and users to ensure delivery of common purpose.
7.Apply recognised methodologies and audit test and quality gates.
8.Ensure the delivery of change is made against a fully auditable process.
9.Engage with the workstream design lead to ensure business systems, workflows and processes aligning to the target operating model.

Qualification and Experience

1.Experience in capturing and managing stakeholder requirements.
2.Experience in employing a range of tools and techniques to map 'As–Is' and 'To–Be' business processes.
3.Strong process gap analysis skills.
4.Experience of working in large/complex project environment.
5.Experience working in a Business Management/Chief Operating Office business areas would be beneficial (but not essential)
