Business Analyst (Product Manager Owner Business Analysis Front Office Front–Office Trading FX Equities Fixed Income Derivative Amazon Web Services AWS Finance Investment Manager Reference Data Quantitative Analysis Research) required by our asset management client in London.

You MUST have the following:

• Established experience as a Business Analyst/Product Manager/Product Owner
• An early career in software engineering/development
• Experience within front–office trading or investment management
• Some knowledge of FX, equities, fixed income or commodities

The following is DESIRABLE, not essential:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS) knowledge
• Experience with an investment manager/asset management/hedge fund company
• Reference data, quant analysis or research analytics

Role: Business Analyst (Product Manager Owner Business Analysis Front Office Front–Office Trading FX Equities Fixed Income Derivative Amazon Web Services AWS Finance Investment Manager Reference Data Quantitative Analysis Research) required by our asset management client in London. You will be working in the investment technology area, specifically within the quantitative research and analytics team. This team has implemented a data lake of reference data across multiple asset classes. Following this, they have created a range of analytics tools to allow quantitative analysts and portfolio managers to manipulate and assess the broad range of data. The UI's and functionality are in their infancy. It will be your job to better define the analytics that the business require and translate these requests into technical requirements for the developers.

It is imperative that you come from a software engineering background. You must also have front office, trading experience. The asset class knowledge is less important. Your experience can also be from either the buy side or the sell side. Any appreciation of AWS would be beneficial but is not essential. Similarly, any exposure to reference data, market data, quantitative analytics or research analytics would be beneficial.

Salary: GBP90k – GBP110k + 20% Bonus + 10% Pension
