Technical Services Director – Infrastructure

I am supporting a Tier 1 principal Civil engineering Contractor with recruitment for a Technical Services Director for Infrastructure across the UK business.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be the Technical Lead for the UK Business and have substantial experience in delivering infrastructure projects of all sizes and all sectors and as a Chartered Engineer, be able to use his or her experience and industry knowledge to develop and support the business strategy.

They will also be responsible for key areas within the business – Engineering resource, Planning, Design, Temporary Works and Quality, the successful applicant will provide leadership, governance and direction to Project Management whilst also managing Client relationships and personnel who support with future Work Winning.

To be suitable for the position you must have;

* Extencive experience in delivering infrastructure projects of all sizes and all sectors including rail, and heavy civils.

* Worked in a similar role for a main contractor

* Previously led a multidisciplinary design and build project at Engineering Manager level.

* Extensive knowledge of construction techniques and best practice

* Expertise in temporary works

* Chartered Civil Engineer status (essential)
