Regional Finance Manager

NP Executive Search are delighted to be supporting our listed global media client in identifying a highly commercial Regional Finance Business Partner. With an enviable client roster and as a result of a recent restructure, this highly compelling opportunity reports to the EMEA CFO and will assume ownership of a key EMEA region.

The remit encompasses:

• Report directly to the EMEA CFO with indirect reports from the CFOs of the markets managed.
• Be primary point of contact for both local CFO's, Europe and Worldwide management for a portfolio of EMEA markets
• Responsible for the in-depth monthly and quarterly review and critically appraise and benchmark financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, results and balance sheets for a portfolio of advertising agencies, providing analysis and reports to Europe & Worldwide management
• Business partner to local CFOs, understanding the key drivers of performance challenge them on appropriateness of profit plans and forecasts, providing commercial input to strategy and budgets as well as ensuring local agency strategy and objectives are in line with group strategy and objectives
• Work with senior stakeholders (local agency CEOs & CFOS and senior management) on acquisitions, disposals, business combinations, liquidations, shared service centre set up, outsourcing, restructuring plans, working capital management, remuneration packages, bonus and severance payments, recruitment proposals, share purchases and disposals, capital expenditure, property transactions and client contract negotiations.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with multiple stakeholders such as treasury, legal, real estate, tax, technical accounting, IT and procurement.
• Review working capital with a particular emphasis on recoverability of WIP overdue accounts receivable, and cash collection.
• Ad hoc projects as and when they arise to improve processes, both financial and operational, improve efficiencies and productivity and develop best practice

The individual:

The successful candidate will have a desire to work in a dynamic and highly creative environment of a global business, whilst being comfortable engaging cross functionally. You will also possess the ability to build relationships and secure buy in from extremely senior stakeholders.

As a qualified accountant (most likely ACA), you will possess relevant post qualified experience from within the media/advertising arena. The role could also suit an Audit Manager with a media orientated client base seeking to make their first move from Practice in to industry
