Project Accountant at Consultancy required for 6 month contract to start remotely
Your new company
Your new company is an international consulting business. They work with a number large blue chip businesses and provide technical advisory support with consultants globally
Your new role
They implemented a new system in 2017 (Oracle Fusion) but have found that they are having a number of issues with the accuracy of reporting so need an experienced Project Accountant to come in and look at all of the accounts for each of the individual projects. You will be looking at the revenue recognition, margin, billing of each of the projects and ensure these are aligned and correct where required. You will need to have a strong understanding of revenue recognition in a project/time-billing environment and happy to get involved in the detail - while still having the gravitas to speak to the FD/senior members of staff to get the information required.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified project accountant with experience in a time-billing or project lead business business. You will need to have experience reporting on revenue generated by multiple projects. What you'll get in return
You will be on a 6 month contract - which will initially start remotely, if restrictions are lifted within the 3 months then the role is based in Central London. You will be paid a daily rate £350-£450 dependent on experience.
