You will lead the S&OP, Planning and Logistics functions for the European region.

My client is a market leading consumer electronics business and possesses some of the world's leading brands in it's category.
Description
As the Operations Director, you will be the owner and coordinator of the European S&OP process and will be responsible for generating the demand and S&OP plan for each brand on a monthly basis. My client is fast paced and ever evolving with rapid expansion plans. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to;
Consolidating sales plans Vs financial plans and initiate actions to manage deviations and control the process.
Utilise theERP planning and forecasting tool to prepare for the monthly sales reports and consensus meeting. You will analyse and report on the:
Sales forecast
Stock forecast
Planning, budget and incoming stock
Availability of goods
Calculate purchase requirements, prepare purchase plans and communicate with the SCM team regarding total regional requirements.
Work with the SCM team on inventory and replenishment planning.
Support the sales team and order desk with the resolution of order/delivery related issues.Drive the business to achieve key metrics on inventory, accuracy and E&O.
Direct the performance of distribution centre teams in Europe to meet logistical goals and requirements effectively
Oversee inbound and outbound freight performance and expense of 3rd party providersDirect import and export compliance
Profile
The successful applicant will have a proven track record of success in a similar role within the consumer electronics sector. You will be able to provide effective and inspirational leadership, often remotely, as well as work collaboratively with stakeholders across the globe. You will be ideally degree educated within a business or supply chain discipline. Further selection criteria will include, but not be limited to;
European Supply Chain leadership
Managing teams remotely across different regions
Consumer electronics
Extensive S&OP and Planning expertise
Managed 3PL and Distribution functions
Strong influencing and management skills
Excellence across collaboration, team building and inclusive decision making.
Excellent analytical skills
