Offered on a full-time, permanent basis, this is an excellent opportunity to work at a modern and forward-thinking practice as the Private Client Head of Department.
The Role
The newly placed Head of Department will be responsible for:
Applications are invited from Senior Associates looking for the next step up and from experienced managers looking for a change. 7+ years' PQE is ideal, but the firm are less concerned with PQE level and more interested in the quality of experience you can bring.
You will have a real desire to get out into the community to promote the firm and build and forge new relationships as well as continue to foster and develop existing ones.
Nurturing and promoting existing talent is a big part of the role, so experience and an interest of training and developing junior lawyers is important.
Those with both full STEP qualification and membership of Solicitors for the Elderly are of particular interest, but if you are on the way to those memberships or have a genuine interest in getting your full qualification/membership then the firm would also like to speak to you.

- Managing a team of 10, made up of Solicitors and paralegals
- Running a reduced caseload of private client law work
- Handling a broad mix of work including wills, trusts, estate planning, powers of attorney and probate
- Assisting other senior Lawyers on complex matters
