Finance Manager job in London paying £70,000, financial reporting and FP&A at this real estate company.
Your new company
This real estate investor and developer has established a healthy portfolio of assets in the UK which covers retail, hospitality, residential and commercial properties. As an established brand, the business has posted strong financial results over the years and look set to continue being strategic with new acquisitions.
Your new role
This role will report into the FD and operates in a relatively flat finance team structure. You'll be tasked with producing useful management information across the different projects and apply your financial modelling skills to appraise upcoming strategic decisions. You'll also have to get involved with IFRS statutory reporting, partial exposure to investor relations and full liaison with auditors at year end. A broad role, you'll also be involved with FP&A and financial systems maintenance.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have completed your ACA or equivalent accountancy qualification whilst at an accountancy practice with a focus on auditing a range of clients ideally listed. After taking a move out of practice, you will ideally now have experience of working in a company with fundamental financial and management reporting responsibilities. Ideally you will have a knowledge of the real estate investment and/or development market that will support your ability to provide strategic insights. Strong Excel modelling capabilities will be required on a daily basis, and you will have natural communication skills, energy and charisma to fit into this high calibre environment.
What you'll get in return
You'll get a salary of up to £70,000 depending on your experience and various additional benefits. You will also be part of an established organisation and take on a role supported by a strong FD to coach and develop you, but one who gives you a great opportunity to add value from the off. This really is a job that will assist your personal development and career mobility and based in their London offices, it's easily accessible from around the city.
