A well–established legal practice is seeking a highly experienced Corporate Solicitor from a reputable firm to join their leading department. The team and wider firm are accredited in the Legal 500 and UK Chambers. The team are acknowledged for providing a first–class service to high net worth clientele across a range of transactions.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop an existing mixed caseload with an exceptional miscellaneous client base who operate across a wide range of different industries to include financial services, technology, professional services, manufacturing, hotels and leisure, real estate, publishing, fashion, media and sport.
This is a position will be a National head of department role, therefore you will be required to oversee the teams in all the offices.
Areas of focus may include:
Commercial contracts
Company secretarial matters
Competition law
Corporate
Charities and not for profit organisations
Data protection
Intellectual property rights
Partnerships
Sport
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Managing your own caseload, providing clear and concise advice
Deal with larger scale, complex transactions alongside colleagues
Attending to clients of the firm
Drafting a wide range of legal documentation such as Contracts, Standard Terms and Conditions of Sale and Shareholder Agreements
Making amendments to Articles of Association
Preparing Board Minutes and all Companies House forms, ensuring filing of all statutory documents
Manage and support the team to achieve their best
Supervise junior members of the team
Active involvement within business development
Maintaining a professional and polite demeanour at all times
Managing and support the team within the office and other offices
Support is provided to all fee earning members of the team
The successful candidate must be a Solicitor with a substantial amount of experience of dealing with a diverse portfolio of business clients across an array of sectors; from international organisations to sole traders, established household names to new start–ups, listed companies to charities and partnerships
