Summary of Role: UK
The Senior HR Business Partner has overall responsibility for people strategy, contributing to overall company strategy

Main Duties:
• Overall responsibility for business people strategy contributing to overall company strategy.
• Reporting to HR Director
• Leadership and control of Human Resources function within these businesses through the matrix HR model across multiple sites.
• Work with the HR Centres of Excellences to lead initiatives affecting business and strategy.
• Formulation of the businesses' People strategies appropriate to the business corporate mission and goals.
• Developing procedures in conjunction with the HR Centres of Excellence.
• Development of the Leadership Teams within the business.
• Lead continuous improvement management / employee communications and ownership of any Trade Union relationships and negotiation.
• Managing the OH capability, ensuring activity it streamlined and the organisation achieves the most from internal OH
• Managing/overseeing the wellbeing programmes and activities for the organisation
• Custodian of compliance with employment law, HR policies & systems within the businesses.

Candidate Requirements:
Key Competencies:
• Extensive business and commercial acumen.
• Ability to influence and motivate others both in the HR team and the wider organisation.
• Extensive planning and organisational skills.
• Ability to identify improvements and innovative solutions to complex problems and drive forward change.
• 'Big Picture', strategic thinker who can identify opportunities to drive the business forward from an HR and business perspective.
• Ability to business partner and influence senior level directors

Education and experience (essential):
• Postgraduate/ Masters level education.
• Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (or equivalent qualification).
• Substantial and broad experience in appropriate Human Resources to include Head of HR or similar roles.
• Experience in change management.
• Extensive experience of working with and ability to influence senior leaders.

Education and experience (desirable):
• Industry specific knowledge.
• Experience of working with an international team.
