Property Development Director

Joshua Robert Recruitment is proud to be working in exclusive partnership with a client–side property developer, investor and asset management organisation. The organisation has a mixed portfolio and a growing care sector business. The client is operating nationwide and offers flexible working, so there is an opportunity for the successful applicant to be based mostly from home.

Due to this significant growth, the business is now seeking to add a Development Director / Manager to join them. The role will sit within the senior leadership of the business working alongside the COO and CEO and will have a clear objective of leading on devising exit strategy for existing and future schemes. The role will work with the CEO who is focused on acquisition. The roles primary purpose is to formulate exit strategies and deliver upon them for existing schemes. You'll define the strategy that delivers on the long term objectives of the business whilst playing an active role in developing and supporting projects and the co–ordination of teams and outsourced multi–disciplined consultants. You'll consistently seek opportunities to develop the estate and identify new opportunities whilst improving processes and systems.

To be considered, you'll need to be an experienced Development Manager / Director with a proven track record of delivery within the care home sector. Sector experience is essential. It is also essential that you have an excellent network and are able to deliver acquisition and exit deals and have significant experience of doing so.

You will possess exceptional technical, management and financial skills and a proven track record of adding significant value. Ideally you will be a member of a professional body such as RICS.
