Location: London. Central, Zone 1. Predominantly remote at the moment.
Are you an experienced, hands on Azure Cloud Infrastructure expert, looking to make a move to a growing (80+ staff in the London office), end user company with ambitious plans to grow & expand their MS Azure cloud infrastructure capability?
Fed up with big corporates where you have to jump through hoops to make even a small change request?
Would you like to shape the beginnings of & the future of the Azure Cloud infrastructure road map, using your expertise to truly own the function within the business?
If so, I have an excellent career opportunity for an ambitious, tech savvy and passionate technologist with excellent Azure infrastructure and DevOps skills wishing to play a pivotal role in transforming an organisation through cloud technologies.
Key responsibilities will include cloud infrastructure design, legacy systems migration and implementation of Azure DevOps infrastructure for innovative technology solutions, across the business functions.
We will need someone to:
Own and lead the architecture for an enterprise wide cloud infrastructure migration
Provide technical insights and direction as it pertains to Microsoft Azure IaaS, Azure SQL and Office 365
Manage and lead the current Infrastructure team on a day–to–day basis
Lead the evaluation and selection process of new hires dedicated to migration efforts
Evaluate and make recommendations on both Azure native and third–party tools to be used during the migration and post migration support thereafter
Perform hands–on automation tasks to treat infrastructure–as–codeSkills required:
Azure Cloud solutions and services including App Services, App Plans, Application Gateways, Database services, Function Apps, Logic Apps, Vaults
Excellent technical documentation capabilities (e.g., data models, process diagrams, network and infrastructure designs)
5+ years Windows networking expertise
CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
Office 365+, .NET Core & IIS web server
Microsoft SQL Server (2012+)
