A leading global organisation are looking to recruit a Senior Legal Counsel on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract. You will have at least 5years PQE as a Commercial Lawyer, preferably from a technology/software company.

You will be providing dedicated legal support to the business and will support a highly successful global business. You will be expected to take ownership of and responsibility for managing the day to day array of legal issues that are faced by a legal team in a fast-paced growing global company.

Specific responsibilities include:
  • Draft and negotiate different forms of client agreements and client licence agreements;
  • Managing complex negotiations using sound judgment to ensure that the organisations interests are served
  • Negotiating, drafting and supporting on a broad range of commercial contracts, including technology agreements, Distribution, Logistics and Licensing Agreements, General Service Agreements, Regulatory Agreements and NDA's
  • Create and maintain the legal department template precedent bank
  • Taking a leading role in the team responsible for implementing and managing GDPR best practice across the business
  • Helping to create the operational infrastructure of the newly formed legal team.
  • Providing legal advice and guidance to the wider business on ad hoc legal issues and business projects.
The team offers excellent training and support and will ensure that you have a genuine involvement in the business. The role will suit a dynamic and proactive lawyer looking for their next challenge!

You will have trained and qualified at a top City Law firm or a highly regarded in house organisation and will have gained a minimum of 5 years' PQE advising on Commercial Contracts. Experience of GDPR is beneficial. You must have the ability to tailor advice to the specific needs of the business and apply common sense and practical solutions in a fast moving environment with new challenges arising every day
