Role Profile

You will be responsible for the timely delivery of RAN and transmission programmes within budget and margin targets and to a high standard

You will be in control of all resources including the back office, logistics and third–party suppliers

Typical Deliverables

Delivery of key RAN Delivery Programmes to UK Mobile Network Operators and WIFI Providers
Build existing relationships with Tier 1 UK MNOs and vendors, including commercial and technical
Ensure the smooth delivery of Field Based RAN and Transmission Projects dealing with on the day issues to meet the needs of the customer
Read all aspects of the delivery programme including logistics, resource, planning and finance
Ongoing development of skills in the field
Leading the team to achieve milestones and objectives
Using best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services – driving continuous improvement
The financial performance and reporting of all projects, including managing financial performance through Oracle
Contractual Quality and Health & Safety for RAN delivery programmes
Developing the project's Management Team, setting standards, identifying the required levels of training and defining specific project roles for all projects. Including project specific roles and responsibilities for the project team
Solving complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions
Working independently with minimal guidance
Matrix management of the project team
Reporting project performance, highlighting and managing all risks & issues and their mitigations throughout the project life cycle
Production of standard project documentation and storage on Oracle UCL
Equipment vendor knowledge: Huawei, Ericsson & Nokia

Business Operations Skills – Experience

Experience of RAN and Transmission Deployments for Mobile Network Operators
Multi–discipline, national projects
Excellent financial and commercial experience of managing project budget up to GBP10M
Demand management experience
Proven experience of managing complexity and change
Excellent understanding of risk and issue management and mitigation strategies
Is recognised as an expert within own area of the organisation
Working Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation
