This is a senior leadership role, accountable for end to end stock management, managing a budget of GBP200+m.

About this role:

For this role we require someone who is responsible for driving strategy, stocks and stores.

The role:
This role will tackle one of the business's toughest challenges in sourcing the right stock, at the right time and cost to ensure they are maintaining high–quality customer service that will in turn strengthen the business brand in the market.

This is a corporate role within a corporate business. For this role, we require an accomplished leader with extensive experience leading client and supplier facing commercial relationships, providing sound procurement insight and expertise to organisations, building and transforming procurement and commercial teams across global organisations and multiple disciplines.

Key Objectives:

Experience within data strategy? How do you drive the data whilst maintaining a value–driven strategy?

Predictions on working capital whilst matching with supply.

Innovation – doing things differently? How can you change the mindset of individuals within a complex matrix type environment?
Supporting the improvement of E2E stores, forecasting and tracking – liaising with Operations and Engineering teams to ensure the process is fit for purpose and in line with key strategic programmes.
Shaping commercial sourcing strategies that lead to optimising profitability.
Invests in building solid business partnerships with stakeholders, customers, suppliers and colleagues.
Passionate about leading teams, coaching and mentoring talent whilst driving positive change in performance.
Focused and energetic in achieving results, driven to outperform targets and celebrate in success.
A specialist in supplier contract negotiation, in–life contract management, procurement best practices, e2e financial optimisation, commercial excellence and performance improvement, customer account management, P&L and financial analysis, governance and compliance and digital transformation.
Responsibility for efficiency and stock availability improvement of the business Inventory management.

Delivering high–quality governance and managing performance governance boards, ensuring adequate evidenced controls are in place
Accountable for the timely bi–annual forecasting cycle for all items of stock, working closely with Procurement and Finance to ensure delivery of the stores within the overall cost and stock envelope
Ensure a consistent approach to weekly and monthly governance, reporting and KPIs across all categoriesEducation
* Bachelor's degree in business or related field (or equivalent experience) preferable
* Active membership of a professional body e.g. CIPS (desirable)
