To be responsible for the leadership and operational management of customer–focused property services delivery

The client are a Housing Association based in Central London with properties across the South East.

Description

The key responsibilities as the Interim Operational Head of Property Services are as follows:

Support the development of a 5 and 30 year Repair and Maintenance Plan
Ensure value for money when procuring repair and maintenance services and materials, regularly bench marking costs, and delivering agreed efficiency targets
Deliver high quality responsive and voids repair services and cyclical, planned maintenance and improvement programmes, meeting customer service standards and board performance targets
Oversee the management of external contracts. Embed and mobilise new supply chain as they come online
Lead and oversee the development and operational delivery of our planned maintenance programmes and capital investment programmes
Lead and oversee the development and operational running of our reactive repairs and voids service
Lead and oversee the operational running of the compliance team and services
Contribute to the review of the Company's technical specifications for the maintenance of existing stock and new build properties
Oversee the management of our direct maintenance operatives and service delivery process
Developing performance targets and quality control measures for the work of the team, and monitoring team member's work to ensure that these are met
Supporting staff by setting clear objectives and holding individual supervisions regularly
Managing the workload of the team to ensure that adequate cover is provided at all timesProfile

The successful Interim Operational Head of Property Services needs to have:

The ability to get into London as and when required
A strong understanding of the Property Services function and the ability to quickly hit the ground running and lead
The ability to be able to start quickly
Good interpersonal and managerial skills in this area
An ability to work autonomously and work well remotely as requiredJob Offer
