Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust's aim is to be the best local provider of high quality, innovative health services near people's homes, working closely with partners so people receive co–ordinated, effective care. We provide a range of community–based health services from district nursing and health visiting, to physiotherapy and specialist community clinics for adults and children in rural and urban environments across Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, and some services to people in surrounding areas. Rated 'Good' by the CQC in all domains, we have embedded an inclusive person–centred culture led by a talented and stable Executive team. We are playing an active and connecting role in the wider Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin STP working with partners to establish sustainable and integrated solutions that improve outcomes for our populations and that work better for those providing care.

At this exciting and challenging time in the NHS and in our health and care economy, we are seeking a transformational new Chief Executive. We are seeking a leader with an understanding of how to deliver services in partnership across a system allowing us to build on the progress that we have made in our STP particularly during Covid–19. The role will require a strategic leader with vision and ambition, this is an opportunity to lead a workforce delivering high quality services whilst working with our system partners to deliver long term solutions for place–based care services that will meet the needs of our populations.

An aspiring or existing Chief Executive, you will bring extensive experience at board level of delivering and shaping care services. You will share our 'people first' values and culture, empowering our committed staff to deliver their ideas for continuous improvement. You will equally thrive in an environment of collaboration with partners quickly building credibility in the system, demonstrating a passion for improving wellbeing outcomes and for delivering outstanding care provision. This is an exceptional role for an inclusive leader to build on our strong platform to develop the future shape of community–based health services for the populations we serve.
