The B2W Group provide professional training and coaching services to suit a range of employer and learner needs. Founded in 2012, The B2W Group has trained and supported thousands of people throughout the UK into a variety of businesses, across a range of industry sectors.
The B2W Group are working with the business community across the West Midlands to support employed individuals within the region by providing access to free, short training courses.
The courses are extremely flexible and are delivered through a blended learning model to allow learners to work at their own pace, with support from their own tutor.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a field–based sales professional with proven experience in engaging with regionally based businesses who can promote our flexible, free courses and secure learners across key West Midlands locations.
This is the perfect opportunity for any expert in sales that has a passion for education and the impact it can have on developing individuals to achieve their maximum potential.
You will be promoting the benefits of our courses and education programmes, whilst recruiting relevant learner numbers for our 2 and 3–day classroom based courses.
The Business Development Manager is responsible for actively generating new business opportunities for the company through direct engagement with businesses and learner engagement opportunities.
MAIN DUTIES
* Identify and secure new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products and services for B2Ws Pre–employment division.
* Seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation.
* Generate leads and cold call prospective customers.
* Meet with clients face to face or over the phone.
* Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these.
* Think strategically – seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business.
* Work strategically – carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes.
* Have a good understanding of B2W's courses offerings and be able to advise others about them.
* Ensure staff are on board throughout the organisation, and understand the need for change and what is required of them
* Seek ways of improving the way the business operates
* Attend seminars, conferences and events where appropriate
* keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world and educational landscape.
??Source and initiate contact with suitable potential clients
??Attend all exhibition and network opportunities
??Complete weekly reports on the pipeline and individual performance
??Attend regular best practice meetings with the sales team
??Maintain the company's core values
??Keep abreast of funding changes and growth opportunities within the industry.
??Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to senior management
