Come and join our new Senior Leadership Teams

Lancashire and South Cumbria is the major health and wellbeing provider for a population of 1.7 million people across Lancashire and South Cumbria. A provider of mental health and learning disability services and physical health services in the community. We are on a journey of improvement, have a new Chief Executive and a completely new Executive Team and have invested significantly in mental health services in the last year.

We have spent the last year listening to our staff, service users and carers and partners about how we need to change our services for the future. Our new organisational structure will align with our systems ICPs enabling great partnership working and local service delivery. Each of our five new networks will be led by a triumvirate of an Operations Director, Nurse Director and Medical Director who will work together to provide senior strategic, visible, clinical and professional leadership across the network and externally with local partners.

We have a real and exciting opportunity to improve population health, address health inequalities and provide high quality services in partnership with our communities designed to transform the delivery of our clinical operational services. We aim to ensure that every person using our services receives high quality care no matter where they access services. It supports our commitment to embedding cultural change through a style of leadership that is aligned to our values 'we are kind, respectful, always learning and a team'. We are seeking compassionate leaders who are champions of diversity and inclusion, put service users and carers at the centre of decision making and actively work in partnership.

As a Network Director of Nursing & Quality you will be responsible for ensuring high quality care, provide professional leadership to the Network Nursing workforce and support the professional leadership of AHPs, Psychologists and Social Workers. You will promote a culture of inclusion, openness, learning, and you will ensure clinical staff have the knowledge and capability to support the continual improvement of care for service users. You will also work in partnership with Local Authorities, Voluntary and Private Sector organisations.

As a registered Mental Health or Learning Disabilities Nurse, you will bring a proven track record of leading teams and quality improvement within complex environments. Working jointly with the Director of Operations and Medical Director within your Network, you will lead and manage services at locality level and will be jointly responsible and accountable for the delivery of quality services particularly around the core domains of safety, effectiveness and service user experience. Collaboration with external partners and stakeholders and the development of strategic plans in line with overall Trust strategy will be a key objective of this role. This is an exceptional opportunity for ambitious Nurse leaders to make their mark in the quality of service user experience in a values–led organisation at the start of an exciting and progressive journey. This is an excellent opportunity towards an Executive Nurse position leading high quality services and demonstrate excellent professional leadership.
