The team
The firm's Dispute Resolution practice advises and represents global corporates and HNWI on a range of complex and high value commercial disputes and investigations, from international arbitration to major regulatory investigations and high profile bribery allegations.
The team is multi-sector and incorporates clients across financial services, global corporations, startups, luxury brands, tech and life sciences. They are supportive of agile and flexible working.
The role
The successful Litigation Support Manager will primarily work with fee earners in Dispute Resolution across Litigation support. Your role will focus on advising fee earners and clients alike in relation to all aspects of trial preparation and the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM), including:

The role
The successful Litigation Support Manager will primarily work with fee earners in Dispute Resolution across Litigation support. Your role will focus on advising fee earners and clients alike in relation to all aspects of trial preparation and the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM), including:
- Assisting with the smooth running of trials including liaising with external counsel and court staff
- Recruiting document reviewers, including liaising with agencies, reviewing CVs and conducting interviews
- Supervising document reviewers through the life cycle of a review
- Managing reviewer allocation for ad hoc tasks as requested by fee earners and regularly liaising with partners to determine on-going requirements
- Retaining and liaising with third party litigation support vendors
- Preserving and collecting documentation
- Liaising with clients' IT teams
- Overseeing and administering document review projects using a range of platforms, e.g. Relativity and Ringtail
- Managing the processing and dealing of errors in data sets
- Running preparation searches and advising on the quality assurance processes
- Managing document review projects, including running pivot profiles, progress review reports, coding tags etc.
- Building cost estimates for Precedent H
- Completing disclosure reports and EDQs
- Overseas travel may occasionally be required
- The ideal Litigation Support Manager will be a qualified Lawyer (admitted in England & Wales or overseas)
- Background in document review, more recently document review management
- In-depth understanding of the disclosure rules
- An understanding of the EDRM and the role of the external legal counsel
- A demonstrable understanding of the technical elements of producing documents for electronic disclosure
- At least 12 months' experience of advanced admin tasks on electronic document review platforms
- The role would suit someone with excellent organisational skills.
- Experience of managing suppliers, preferably litigation support software suppliers, would be a real plus
- Whilst the successful Litigation Support Manager will be working as part of a team, you must also be able to work on your own
- This is a busy and fast-paced role which would suit someone who enjoys engaging people internal and external stakeholders at lots of different levels
