Elevation Engineering and Manufacturing are currently working with one of the UKs leading manufacturers in the appointment of a Head of Quality.
This is an integral role in the business and a fantastic opportunity to join a world class manufacturer with a turnover of GBP100m+ will suit an experienced Quality individual with demonstrable experience in change management; systems implementation and strategically reducing costs.
Head of Quality Duties & Responsibilities:
– In this role you'll work closely with the senior management team; understanding the business objectives and areas of initial concern
– Review all processes and systems which are in place; make improvements and recommendation for change moving forward
– Create and develop a Quality culture with a "right first time" ethos
– Ensure all the relevant certificates and accreditations are in place; monitored and met, with all individuals have a thorough understanding of the equipment which they use and systems in place
– Lead Quality improvement and continuous improvement projects on site
– Review quality business–wide and ensure all measurables are in place to track quality; service; efficiency and empowerment with a view to drive down cost and increase quality
Elevation Recruitment Group are keen to speak with individuals experienced in a senior quality capacity that possess the following skills:
– Degree qualified in either operations; engineering or management – engineering preferred
– CQI – highly desirable
– Proven experience; delivering against KPIs, with appreciation for what excellent looks like
– You will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
– Proven skills in applying change management and driving costs down and improving quality business wide, leading high performing teams with examples of where you have improved the customer experience whilst adding value to the revenue increase
– You will be analytically strong with a tactile approach and the ability to successfully work as part of a wider team
