North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust is a large and busy organisation, with 6,700 staff serving a population of 700,000 across three hospitals in Peterborough, Huntingdon and Stamford and supporting community clinics in Doddington, Ely and Wisbech. Continuously striving to provide the right care at the right time, every time, for the people we serve, we are a key partner in the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough STP and work closely with the Lincolnshire STP.

Our dedicated teams have worked tirelessly to support our patients and one another through this challenging time. The demands of the COVID–19 pandemic have required us to deliver significant transformation in our services and relationships. Going forward we share a passion and commitment to building on our learning, reimagining the future, and together developing an outstanding organisation from a strong and resilient platform.

Our Chief Finance Officer will have an enviable opportunity to work with our Board, our staff, stakeholders, and communities to establish our vision, our values, and our culture. This leadership position has a broad portfolio and leading our dedicated teams, you will support the creation of an inclusive environment that promotes innovation and a continued focus on excellent patient care.

Joining our values–based and progressive organisation at a senior level, you will provide strong operational grip and motivational leadership to an experienced senior team. The Chief Finance Officer is the professional head of finance for the organisation and is responsible for providing strategic financial leadership and advice to the Chief Executive and Executive Team. You will play a key role in the organisation's overall strategic vision and direction, and in the day–to–day managerial decision–making process. You will be responsible for the development of a proactive and effective financial strategy which takes account of our organisation and of the local health and social care system transformation.

We are seeking an inspirational, open, and visible leader, a champion for service users and carers. As an experienced Finance leader working corporately at, or close to Board level, you will bring credibility and impact to this broad and influential role. Comfortable in building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders within the organisation, our health system and our communities, your passion for quality, safety and efficiency will match that of our dedicated and innovative workforce.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced finance professional to develop into an executive board role with a broad remit, joining an ambitious organisation.
