Project Manager – to be promoted to Contracts Manager

I currently have a civil engineering clients in the Midlands area that are looking for a Site Agent to work on rail, bridges, infrastructure and roads projects.

Projects will range from GBP30M–GBP100M in value and will involve bridges, highways, muckaway, bypasses, earthworks and structures.

My client is specifically looking for an "up and coming" Contracts Manager – initially employed as a stand alone project manager that has the ambition to move in to a contracts manager role within the year. They tend to only promote from within, hence the requirement to initially employ at this level and appoint someone with the right attitude to suit their culture which is supportive, proactive and dedicated to customer service and quality.

Leadership style is particularly key and they seek someone that leads by example, is nurturing, inclusive and is happy to get their hands dirty when required.
