Financial Controller

We are recruiting for this Fintech business that has grown 50% last year. In fact they have hired one of the most well known CEO’s of the FTSE100 onto their board recently. The business itself will definitely go through an IPO in the next few years and that is very exciting. The role of Financial Controller will pay £100,000-110,000 + 15% Bonus + Bens. Ideally we are looking for someone on shorter notice period, up to 1 months max and interviews will happen next week. This role will focus on setting up new finance structures in different countries, this will include the taxation side, stats and everything else. This role will also have oversight for the Group Reporting, but there is a Group Reporting Manager. It will get involved in board reporting, dealing with the annual budget, deputizing for the Group FC, managing a team of 4 people, This person will enhance systems and processes, drive the close of the general ledger. This person will also deal with the investors and ensure synergies are made across the team. The right candidate will come from a practice background, then had roles within Financial Control, optimizing month end, looking at new initiatives and have a commercial mindset. This person will be ACA/ACCA/CA qualified only
