A Financial Accountant role for a German speaking and qualified finance professional

Your new role
We are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant for a company in Hayes.
You will lead finance for the German entity, providing accurate and timely financial and management information for use both internally and externally.
This role will enable the successful candidate to gain some great exposure to a dynamic, fast-paced business that can offer some brilliant career development opportunities going forwards.
Key responsibilities:
Month end accounting including accruals, prepayments, fixed assets depreciation, amortisation, long term liabilities amortisation, balance-sheet reconciliations, revenue journals, cash and bank reconciliation, payroll journals.
Prepare and post complex inter-company journals and inter-company reconciliation.
Business partner with multiple stakeholders in the business
Ownership of P&L and Balance Sheet
Preparation of monthly/quarterly management accounts
P&L and Balance Sheet analyses and commentary
Reconciliations e. Revenue, Cash, Payroll etc.
Management of suppliers and payment runs
Preparation of VAT returns / Assisting Corporation tax return preparation
Liaise with Statutory Auditors to provide the supporting for various transactions.
What you'll need to succeed
Exposure to Financial and Management Accounting including Statutory Accounts and FX
Qualified accountant - Bilanz Buchhalte, Wirtschaftsprüfer
Technically and Commercially orientated
Strong Microsoft Office especially Excel (pivots and lookups)
ERP experience, preferably Workday, Microsoft Navision or Sage
IFRS / US GAAP
Technology sector
