A highly successful and regarded Exeter firm of chartered accountants, undergoing succession planning along with planning for the future development and growth of their business has a requirement for a Junior Partner / Partner to join the business as a key hire. You will manage a sizeable client portfolio and be looking to play a lead role in the further growth of this highly successful accountancy firm.

Client Details

Based in Exeter, the firm's clients are wide ranging in sector, turnover and industry range to cover the expected range of smaller sole traders and partnerships, alongside a large client base of OMBs and SMEs, ranging from into the £millions in turnover, to considerably larger corporate clients with a decent number of audit clients within the firm totally around 40 - 45 in number. You will lead the development and growth of this office, as well as managing a large portfolio. Entry at equity level, or salaried options are equally of interest to investigate, dependent on the motivations and level of the right candidate.

Description

Joining this firm as Junior Partner / Partner in Exeter, dependent on the background of the right candidate you will bring a career strength and background as an all-round accounts, tax, audit etc adviser to sole traders, partnerships and limited company OMBs, groups, subsidiaries, charities, not for profit and other clients. Ideally you will bring audit experience with the scope to act as an RI in the future and play a lead role in managing the quality and service on this side of the business as part of your remit. You will manage a sizeable fee base of clients, in a client facing advisory capacity and all round advisor role across audit, accounts and tax, looking to develop relationships with the clients and drive the growth of this office for the future in a business development focused capacity. You will manage the wider team and oversee the delivery of compliance and advisory projects, working with the wider management and support team on this. You will progress in your career and carve a key, influential role in this well established and successful firm of chartered accountants.

Profile

You will hold any of ACA /ACCA/ CTA qualified, practising certificate, RI status etc, with a strong background in accountancy practice having developed your career to at least Senior Manager level, or Junior Partner / Partner Designate, / Partner levels, currently operating on either a salaried, or equity/profit share basis. You will have an all-around general practitioner career background gained within any of small, medium/large size, mid tier, or top tier firm background ideally across audit, accounts and tax as an all round general practitioner and you will be seeking a challenging, long term career move in the profession at this level.

Job Offer

Circa £50,000 - £80,000 + dependent on the background, experience and level, with both salaried and/or equity options open to explore around the preferences and motivations of the right professional
