An exciting, unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced Group Financial Accountant to join the finance team within this international brand based in the Northampton area. The Group Financial Accountant will be pivotal within the finance team, forecasting growth over the coming years and forming a part of a highly experienced department. This brand has a rich history with fantastic values and is currently going through a period of rapid growth, from an already impressive base level.
Key Responsibilities
As Group Financial Accountant, you will work closely with your direct line manager to ensure that month end group reporting and year end statutory processes are achieved within suitable timeframes. You will take ownership of month end consolidations – both reporting and adjustments, as well as oversight of the intercompany reconciliations.

The Candidate
The ideal individual must be an ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified accountant, who is a confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills. You will be able to work closely with multiple departments both in-house and overseas to obtain required information, allowing you to deliver to required timeframes and update the finance manual as and when required. You will ideally be an advanced excel user, being comfortable in all applications within Microsoft office and where possible, an understanding of Microsoft Dynamics.

- Group transaction reviews including transfer pricing agreements
- Preparation of financial statements for UK subsidiaries
- Support and help develop process implementation plans
- Ownership of Group Finance Manual updates and changes
