We are currently looking for an interim financial controller with a strong technical background, excellent leadership and extensive knowledge of UK GAAP as well as US GAAP/SOX controls.

We are currently looking for an interim financial controller with a strong technical background, excellent leadership and extensive knowledge of UK GAAP as well as US GAAP/SOX controls.
Interim Financial controller Key Deliverables;
- Deliver financial accounting and reporting of 9 UK legal entities, ensuring these are maintained in compliance with UK GAAP, company policies and US GAAP.
- Oversees the general accounting function, which includes inter-company accounting, cash management/reconciliation, financial reporting, balance sheet management and maintaining a strong SOX compliant control environment.
- Manage and coordinate work relating to both internal and external audits in the periodic review of the company financial records.
- Lead for technical accounting under local and US GAAP, providing expertise and guidance to the UK business.
Interim Financial Controller Skills & Experience Required
- A minimum of five years finance experience as a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with progressive responsibilities
- Experience with US GAAP reporting essential
- Experience managing people with strong, professional communication and written skills
- Excellent IT skills (including Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
- Experience of Oracle and Hyperion preferred
