A Human Resources process improvement specialist company are looking for a newly qualified Chartered Financial Reporting Accountant to join their team on a 3 month contract basis to start as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with knowledge of multiple international entities, and IFRS and UK GAAP reporting standards.

A Human Resources process improvement specialist company are looking for a newly qualified Chartered Financial Reporting Accountant to join their team on a 3 month contract basis to start as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with knowledge of multiple international entities, and IFRS and UK GAAP reporting standards.
Responsibilities of the Financial Reporting Accountant:
- To assist with the month end close including journals, analysis and reporting
- Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations to a high level with strong support and reasoning
- Prepare and submit audit information to a professional standard
- Prepare UK GAAP/IFRS trial balance and financial statements
- Assist the UK Head of Accounting with process improvements
- Build close working relationships with the rest of the UK Finance team as well as intercompany partners
- Work across the organisation's matrix structure, providing support to those that need it and obtaining information when it is required
- Preparation of an annual financial statements and related support
- Prepare detailed calculations for key accounting areas
Capabilities of the Financial Reporting Accountant:
- Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
- Financial Reporting experience under UK GAAP and IFRS
- Highly analytical and detail-oriented
- Computer literate, advanced Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
