Halliday Marx are partnering with our client, an e-commerce company based in London. We need a commercial SME FC / FD for aa 6-12 Month maternity Cover.
You will lead the Finance team, reporting to the CEO and you will have exposure to all aspects of the business.
Responsibilities include:
Running the Finance department, which consists of a team of three
Financial forecasting and planning and target/budget setting
Cash flow forecasting and cash management
Month-end account closure and financial reporting
Financial board reporting (monthly and quarterly)
Quarterly VAT returns
AR and AP management and reporting
Ad hoc project work, including fundraising involvement
Experience desired:
Minimum 3 years post qualification (ACA / CA / CIMA / ACCA / CPA or equivilent), preferably in SME eCommerce Consumer Goods
Strong leadership, prioritisation and time management skills
Willing to roll up sleeves and dig into the detail and can also communicate at board level
Excellent attention to detail, with a strong commercial acumen
Driven and prides themselves on doing an outstanding job
Good use and ideally improving accounting and ERP systems
Commercially astute and KPI focused
Process oriented with ability to operate at a fast pace in an entrepreneurial environment
