The Business: This global FMCG business has achieved rapid growth over the last couple of years and with substantial backers on board this expansion looks set to continue further on the international stage. They are now looking to hire a Indirect Tax & VAT Manager for their EMEA operations. This high profile role will work alongside senior management and the Indirect Tax and VAT Manager will be responsible for all functions related to Indirect and VAT Accounting.

They are now looking to hire a Indirect Tax & VAT Manager for their EMEA operations. This high profile role will work alongside senior management and the Indirect Tax and VAT Manager will be responsible for all functions related to Indirect and VAT Accounting.
Indirect Tax Manager responsibilities include:
- Ownership of all EMEA VAT GL accounts on the ERP system
- Monthly reconciliation of VAT accounts
- Preparation of reports for VAT returns for EMEA regions
- Ensure all aspects of VAT transactions are captured correctly on the ERP system
- Accurate forecasting of VAT payments across EMEA based on business growth
- Provide supporting information for audits
- Ad hoc project work
- Ideally a qualified Accountant ( ATT, AAT,ACA, ACA, CA or international equivalent)
- 7-12 years International indirect tax / VAT experience
- Strong technical skills
- Previous experience of working within an FMCG environment highly advantageous
- Experience of working with US parent reporting preferable
- Strong communicator; someone who is able to implement and influence change within the business
- Ability to multi task and prioritise within a dynamic, fast paced organisation
- Strong excel and Microsoft Office skills
- A curious, problem solving mind with an international outlook
- Base salary £85,000 - £95,000 ( dependent on experience)
