Are you an experienced Head of Financial Management?
A qualified accountant, the Head of Financial Management will be responsible for leading and developing the financial management team to ensure they offer a comprehensive, cohesive and responsive services that supports the organisations aspirations. In particular you will be responsible for coordinating the annual planning cycle ensuring the financial plan is up to date, that financial plans and budgets reflect the operational priorities and are clearly communicated and understood.
The key requirements for this interim role over the next six months are:
Senior Finance lead for operational finance support to the Trust, responsible for the Financial Management function (Finance Business Partnering, Income and Costing). This includes supervisory management of 2 Senior Finance Business partners (and their finance business partner support) and the costing Practitioner.
Co-ordinating the production and reporting of Trust & Directorates monthly financial performance including activity, income, expenditure and efficiency including yearend forecasts
Lead the Trust annual planning exercise in line with national requirements, ensuring that all Corporate and Directorate management teams fully engage with the process.
Finance lead oversight on Trust wide projects such as workforce improvement, transformation programmes etc.
