Licensing and Litigation Support Lawyer

Sellick Partnership are recruiting a Licensing and Litigation Support Lawyer to join a well-respected local authority in Cheshire on a locum basis. The role will be for an initial 3 months, with a view to extend.

The Licensing and Litigation Support Lawyer will be responsible for carrying their own caseload, as well as providing support to the Senior Lawyers in the team. The workload will be varied and interesting, covering a number of areas of law, such as:

• Licensing, including alcohol and taxi licensing
• Attending licensing committees
• Regulatory matters
• Criminal matters
• Civil matters

The ideal candidate does not necessarily need to have experience in all of the above areas of law; this would be a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor, or someone who is looking to gain experience within the public sector.
