Group CFO

GRG Executive Search has been retained by an Investor backed consumer business to recruit a Group CFO for the business. The business has an ambitious buy and build strategy and is seeking to make volume acquisitions with a few to a 3 year plan to exit ideally with an IPO. Working alongside a highly successful senior management and investment management team the successful Group CFO will play a pivotal role developing and driving the funding strategy of the business which will enable scale at pace. The Group CFO will work with the Executive Board to design overall business strategy including M&A activity and will lead accounting, forecasting, modelling, management information and the building/maintaining of a robust financial control framework. Management of external relationships with auditors, bankers, lawyers and the FCA will also form part of the role. The successful candidate will have the ability to drive strategy alongside paying attention to the detail and working with a high calibre board. Previous exposure to PLC and/or IPO and/or a fund raising environment would be a distinct advantage.
