Description
This Regulatory and Compliance Manager role involves:
Supporting the Compliance Partner and Director of F&A on, and undertaking reviews of, matters included within in the ICAEW Annual Returns
Preparation of the ICAEW Annual Returns
Liaising with ICAEW throughout the year
Act as a sounding board on regulatory questions that arise
Acting as a first line of approach for partners and staff on queries on client take on procedures and other regulatory matters
Overseeing client money transactions to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
Oversee annual visit by ICAEW re completion of regulatory forms (for instance, application to renew Probate Licence)
Act as a central conduit for queries from overseas offices on regulation matters
Overseeing the firm's responsibilities relating to FATCA, CRS and HMRC generally
Assist in designing and running anti-money laundering/Criminal Finances Act/Bribery Act training
Act as initial contact point regarding queries on the Firm's client engagement letters and terms and conditions
Act as lead for the GDPR agenda of the Firm, including;
Profile
This Regulatory and Compliance Manager role requires:
Compliance experience, including experience in a general compliance role covering core areas of corporate compliance (including: anti-bribery, AML, data protection and due diligence)
Able to manage a diverse and often conflicting workload

- Offer consultation on how to deal with privacy breaches
- Arrange for training on GDPR compliance for employees
- Follow up with changes in law and issue recommendations to ensure compliance
Profile
This Regulatory and Compliance Manager role requires:
Compliance experience, including experience in a general compliance role covering core areas of corporate compliance (including: anti-bribery, AML, data protection and due diligence)
Able to manage a diverse and often conflicting workload
- Professional manner and able to act as ambassador for the firm
- Able to work on own initiative
- Able to identify and act upon priorities and deadlines
- Discreet and able to deal with sensitive information
- IT Literate
- Fine eye for detail
