Your new firm
A well established and reputable firm of Chartered Accountants based in Bolton are currently seeking a Director to join the firm to allow for their succession plans. The firm currently operate as a two partner practice in modern offices outside the town centre.
Your new role
As a Director you will work with one of the retiring partners to oversee the smooth handover of a portfolio of clients. The firm provide a range of compliance and advisory services to local businesses, individuals and larger OMBs in the North West and beyond. As a Director you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of assignments to your portfolio, delegating and reviewing the work of junior staff and conducting client meetings. You will take an active role in the development of new business with both existing clients and new businesses.
What you'll need to succeed
The firm are looking for an ACA / ACCA qualified portfolio manager / director who has ideally obtained their practising certificate. Managing a portfolio you must be able to demonstrate a strong commercial acumen and the ability to maintain and develop strong work relationships both internally and externally.
Any client following you could bring with you would be advantageous.
