A leading international commercial firm is currently seeking an Employment Lawyer to join their team in Edinburgh or Glasgow. This is a permanent, full time position.

About the Role
The Employment Lawyer will predominantly be acting for employers on a range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
Key Duties include:
- Managing a tribunal caseload - interacting with clients, drafting all pleadings and statements, preparing bundles, performing own advocacy at the employment tribunal
- Being accountable for individual financial performance and ensuring delivery of responsibilities to a high standard within required time frames
- Analysing risk and using sound judgement with when making decisions
- Working as part of a team, delegating work appropriately and managing work upwards when required
- Building relationships internally and externally, developing business networks
The ideal Employment Lawyer will have the following traits:
- 2+ years' PQE
- A genuine passion for employment law
- Experience defending ET claims and conducting their own advocacy in tribunal
- Transactional experience, including TUPE related issues
- Technical and commercial expertise
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to deliver a first-rate service to clients
