A PE backed buy & build professional services business, currently going through a significant growth period, is seeking a Financial Controller to increase efficiency within the finance function and support the strategic direction of the business.
With full responsibility for developing the finance team and ownership of the day to day running of the finance function this role requires a driven and results orientated leader, able to identify opportunities for improvements in systems, processes, and controls. The FC will have a strong relationship with senior management and interaction with the wider business, therefore the role requires someone with strong communication skills. The Financial Controller will also be tasked with playing a crucial role in a planned period of M&A.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant, with proven experience as an autonomous Financial Controller, and a track record in managing and developing a finance team.
