Financial Controller | Fast Growing Fintech SaaS Company | East London
The Company
Featuring on the FT 1000 list, this SaaS start-up is growing fast, and subsequently so is their finance team with the need for a Financial Controller. Based in Europe's fintech capital and backed by a top venture capital fund, the company has grown from 12 employees to over 30 in the space of just 3 years. The can-do attitude and shared vision of all employees puts the company on track to grow over 200% within the next 2 years. The hard work does not come at the expense of the fun working environment however, with team events, incentives and socials being a regular occurrence.
The Role
The fintech start-up see this as the perfect time for a financial controller to come on board and impact the business moving forward. As a successful candidate, you will be joining the business as number one in finance with the opportunity to build on the current finance team. There will be an emphasis on the board requirements, strategy and financial planning and analysis with this role.

Required Skills
- Strong financial control and financial reporting experience
- Experience with a start-up or scale-up business
- Genuine interest in fintech
- Experience in FP&A
- Excellent communication skills
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
Bonus (non-essential) Skills
- Preference for fully qualified ACA
- Strong leadership
- Experience within a fintech company
