Local Government Finance Manager
Your new company
This organisation has an urgent requirement for an experienced Finance Manager to join them for approx. 3 months, Ideally you will be qualified and have experience in Local Government finance
Your new role
Working alongside the DS151 Officer you will be overseeing the statement of accounts, working with external auditors, budget monitoring, and overseeing the work of members of the finance team. You will be expected to have broad Local Council experience, ideally from a district or borough council and be able to hit the ground running.
What you'll need to succeed
You should be a qualified accountant who has worked at a senior level within a local authority, and ar immediately available or available at short notice,.
What you'll get in return
This role is in-scope of IR35 and last approximately 3 months, your rate paid will be dependant on experience.
