As Senior Finance Business Partner you will work closely with Project Managers and Project Controllers, providing real time financial support and analysis to assist in controlling and decision-making. You will review and approve month end reporting for projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the Operational and Commercial Directors in relation to the financial performance of the business
• Analyse project performance vs. forecast and provide commentary
• Validate month end WIP calculations and review ageing of WIP
• Maintain project revenue, margin and cash flow forecasts
• Produce project budgets including project cash flows
• Perform cost analysis / system interrogation
• Attend controlling meetings
• Review estimates and tenders to validate margin estimates and cash flow forecasts
• Review and approve month end contract accruals / prepayments
• Maintain contract reporting information
• Maintain order intake / backlog information
• Line manage and mentor the Finance Business Partner
• Support systems development
• Provide ad hoc support as required to Project Managers and Project Controllers
• Assist in resolving issues and queries with the Financial Accounting Team

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE

• Several years' experience in a business partner role
• Advanced Excel analysis
• SAP

QUALIFICATIONS

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA
