Financial Controller job with Bilfinger UK Limited in Warrington.

As Financial Controller you will lead on production of the company's monthly management accounts, together with the company's forecasting, treasury and working capital management, tax, group reporting and statutory accounts obligations. Provide accounting information and support to operational colleagues.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Deliver accurate monthly management accounts to agreed reporting deadlines, including explanation of variances to forecast
  • Deliver annual statutory accounts by 28 February
  • Effectively manage cash and working capital, in particular operation within the designated internal limit and levels of receivables and trade receivables
  • Ensure corporation tax and VAT returns are submitted, payments made on time and regulations are complied with
  • Prepare budgets and forecast updates to agreed reporting deadlines
  • Ensure compliance with all group financial reporting requirements - accounts, forecasts, treasury, tax etc
  • Deliver regular financial management information to, and liaise with, operational colleagues concerning their commercial requirements
  • Effectively manage, motivate and develop the Finance team
  • Work closely with IT to ensure the accounting system is maintained and essential reports are available
  • Manage relationships with auditors and tax advisers
  • Ensure that the Finance Director is kept informed of relevant matters


Systems Development
  • Support the development and improvement of systems, processes and reporting at Bilfinger UK (SAP, Job Router and Concur)
  • Provide training and communications to operational teams


EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE
  • Several years' experience in a senior Finance role
  • SAP systems experience
  • This role will require two days a week in Bristol with an expenses paid hotel each week


QUALIFICATIONS
  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA
