The Company
A UK based global manufacturer of tech hardware based in Surrey is looking for a Legal Counsel to join on a permanent basis.
The Role
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will support the business with commercial contracts, general risk management, legal training to staff and support the application of legal and governance policies.
Your remit will include, but not be limited to;
• Drafting and negotiating high value agreements including distribution agreements with direct/indirect customers, supplier and procurement contracts
• Advising on marketing, advertising and sponsorship agreements
• Being a point of contact for GDPR matters
• Supporting the business with general legal advice concerning employment, disputes and IP
You
The successful candidate will be/have the following;
• UK qualified Solicitor with between 2-6 years PQE
• Experience leading on commercial contracts such as procurement and distribution agreements.
• Confident advising on consumer law with matters such as marketing, advertising and IP.
• Experience in working on GDPR matters.
• Recent in-house experience, however candidates straight from private practice will be considered.
