Job title: Corporate Reporting Manager (Maternity Cover)
Location: Cambridge

Type: 17 month Fixed Term Contract

Our client, a fast paced and highly reputable business in the city of Cambridge, has a high profile interim opportunity for a Corporate Reporting Accountant to join them to cover maternity for a period of 17 months. This is a crucial position within the senior management team. Reporting directly to the CFO your key responsibilities would include financial statements, tax, audit, company secretarial, internal audit, equity and investor relations.

Key Accountabilities:
*Responsible for the group IFRS and subsidiary FRS 101 annual and interim financial statements.
*Corporation tax for all group companies globally
*Equity schemes; IFRS 2 accounting, share option registers, work with the brokers, registrars, trusts and HR for share option exercises, sales, scheme rules, HMRC filings
*Prepare and release of regulatory announcements
*Statutory company filing requirements for all group companies and branches globally
*Investor relations support, including working with the financial PR firm, investor communications, AGM administration and the dividend process
*Month end responsibilities include, but are not limited to, preparing the group consolidation, FX analysis, finance commentary and acting as Board pack controller
*Audit Committee reporting
*Control the Internal Audit function within finance
*Responsible for group consolidation accounting and management of accounting standard changes, papers, policies review, documentation and compliance
*Work with the Financial Operations Manager and Financial Planning and Analysis Manager on various areas across the finance function to achieve common goals, including the budgeting process, audit process, and intercompany accounting.

Suitable candidates will be ACCA or ACA qualified with strong previous experience within Corporate or technical accounting, preferably within an international or listed business. You should demonstrate strong communication skills as you will be in direct contact with the leadership team and external stakeholders, Autonomous in your style you should have a proven track record of managing competing priorities and achieving deadlines.
